Winter Wedding at Buffalo Mountain Lodge is already a year old!
Let me start off by saying that I have known Carlee and Joel for years before their wedding day. Carlee and Joel have known each other for years as well and naturally shared a yest for life and theater. Back in 2012, Carlee asked me to photograph her graduation. It was such a fun day! I was so happy to see her and Joel get all dressed up and ready to take on their lives together. Fast forward five years, to Carlee and Joel’s wedding day, needless to say, I was more than ecstatic to be their wedding photographer as well! Buffalo Mountain Lodge is a magical venue for a wedding in the winter time.
As this was my first time ever travelling to Banff, the experience was even more exciting along with my husband and some close family. It was a mild but beautiful day in Banff for the ceremony. The meadow reservoir located right beside the Buffalo Mountain Lodge was a beautiful choice for a ceremony with the incredible view of Tunnel Mountain. By the time the reception was to begin, it began to snow! Such a perfect way to end the evening while we were inside the Wapiti Longhouse for dinner and dancing! Congratulations once again Carlee and Joel. You may be only celebrating your first anniversary but I know there will be so many many more to come!
Thank you once again Carlee and Joel for having Sparrow Photography be an honoured guest as well as your wedding photographer on this day one year ago! Loved every minute!
